Built on the site of an old castle chapel, the fortified church, whose nave and Romanesque tower date from the 13th century, underwent major transformations, particularly to the choir in the 14th century and to the portal in 1689. During the 15th century, the entire building was raised to ensure its defense and refuge; seven firing windows, protected by mantlets, were installed on the upper floor, a staircase with a turret defended by three arrow slits provides access. Several openings were enlarged in the 18th century.
