I haven't vacationed there yet, but I can well imagine it - the only way to get closer to the water is on a boat. Alternative for the next vacation on Rügen?

We have already stayed in the floating houses and I can say it is very nice. Each house has its own pier where you can moor your boat or SUP. It's great to wake up and have breakfast in the middle of the harbor in the morning.
