Murals "After the rain the sun always shines” and “Square portraits”

After the rain, the sun always shines” – this is another wall in the city decorated with the playful works of Stasele Jakunskaitė. The drawing depicts the sun and rain – constant companions of our lives. According to the artist, life is diverse, therefore all emotions and experiences are necessary and inevitable – it is part of our life story.

“Square Portraits” are six unique, stylized characters placed on square backgrounds of different colors. All of the portraits created by Stasele Jakunskaite are united by a rounded square shape. According to the author, this work symbolizes that although we are all different, we are all united by common features and a sense of community.
