Scattered juniper clusters and sagebrush dot the landscape, creating a subtle transition from the rugged badlands to a more peaceful prairie feel. Wildlife is often active here, so if you're quiet, you'll likely see mule deer, wild turkeys, and meadowlarks moving through the brush.
