Mountain biking

As mentioned a good surface but can be slippery in places. It's on a curve so the other side is not visible and has some ventilation shafts for a little light but not much. Go around in heavy rain unless you don't mind wading through up to your crank.

if you don't want to go through the tunnel their is a path around the outside just before the tunnel

Surface in tunnel is good, maybe a little wet but passable for gravel bike unlike the alternative path. Just keep pedalling and aim for the light.
