Mansholter Holz, Schippstroth ”. The nature reserve consists of two sub-areas that are linked by a sub-area of the landscape protection area "Bäkental der Halfsteder, Bokeler and Nutteler Bäke including the edge of the forest areas Mansholter Holz and Schippstroth". The area has been a nature reserve since August 11, 2012. The responsible lower nature conservation authority is the district of Ammerland.
The nature reserve is located south of Wiefelstede in the East Frisian-Oldenburg Geest natural area. It places parts of the hardwood forests of Mansholter Holz and Schippstroth under protection. The forest areas are characterized by a high proportion of old and dead wood. The near-natural Geest brooks Bokeler Bäke and Nutteler Bäke with numerous tributaries flow through the Mansholter Holz. The brooks have formed impact and sliding banks and have a sandy and gravelly river bed. Both streams are lined with trees and wet meadow areas.

This singletrack starts / ends along the Bokeler Bäke with a few roots and comes quite narrow. After a turn to the south, we continue through the undergrowth of the Schippstroth.
