In 1628, the village of Mostsy belonged to the landowner Anna Ilyina, Turov's wife, and the solicitor Dmitry Ivanovich, Zabolotsky's son. In 1702, the village of Mostsy was listed as the patrimony of the widow of the steward Ivan Petrov-Volynsky, Anna Mikhailova. With her diligence, a church was built in the village, which survived until 1808, when a new stone church was built, and in 1813 a bell tower was built. The new stone church was built with funds from the landowner S.A. Bezobrazov, brother of D.A. Bezobrazov, who was the owner of an estate in the village of Patakino.
The temple has been abandoned since the late 1930s. Inside, a wooden carved iconostasis, wall and dome paintings have been preserved. Next to the temple are tombstones from burials of the late 18th century.
