On the way from the lazy hunter into the Hellebachtal are the "devil stones".
They come from the Neocom chalk sandstone and are about 140 million years old. Originally they formed the Eggekamm and broke off there millions of years ago, rolled down the slope and remained in its present location.
They are not boulders, because they would have been transported from hard granite and basalt and from the far north from the ice of the ice ages to their present sites. However, the icing has never progressed to this area, and these soft sandstones would have been completely rubbed on the transport.

The devil's stones lying here are all made from the chalk sandstone of Neocom, around 140 million years old. They originally formed the harrow ridge and broke off there millions of years ago, rolled down the slope and left where it is now. They are not "boulders", because these stones are made of hard granite and basalt and have been transported from the far north by the ice of the ice ages to their current location.
