St. Martin's Church in Barkowo is a late Baroque church with Classicist elements, built between 1783 and 1787 by the von Hatzfeldt family on the site of an earlier church, mentioned as early as 1333.
Distinctive architectural features:
- a single-nave structure with an elliptical interior plan interwoven with a Greek cross,
- a sail vault with lunettes and rich stucco decoration in the chancel,
- a four-story tower with a Baroque spire and cupola,
- a façade with a pseudoportico and triangular pediment, and elevations fragmented by Tuscan pilasters.
