Isidoro Pires (1888–1961) was a Portuguese poet and writer, originally from Tavira. He was known for his lyrical poetry, often inspired by the nature, rural life, and culture of the Algarve. Pires contributed to the literary scene of southern Portugal and is honored locally, including with a statue in the Jardim do Coreto in Tavira.

It was created by the artist Raul Xavier. Manuel Isidoro Pires was a famous poet and politician from Tavirense who served as mayor of the city. This monument was inaugurated in 1961.
