Sultind (also called Sultinden) is a mountain in northern Norway with an elevation of 1026 meters. The trail to the summit starts from the northeastern corner of Tårnvatnet lake.
Like many less-frequented Norwegian trails, the path can be faint and sometimes overgrown, and trail markings are not always easy to follow.
The hike includes some steep sections but requires minimal scrambling. Just the uppermost part is bouldery. Although challenging, it is a relatively easy route overall.
The summit views are great towards the beautiful island of Senja and elsewhere.
There is a road toll of 60 NOK on the access road, payable by cash or through the Vipps app (which requires a Norwegian bank account). To avoid this toll, you can park before the barrier, though this adds around 3 km of walking each way, or alternatively start from a route starting near the town of Straumsnes.
