At the outlet of the canyon the Olav pilgrim trail crosses the river. The crossing is made easier by multiple stone steps and normal shouldn't be too challenging. But during slippery trail conditions or high water this could be quite different.

Furthermore, this crossing also is a good place for easy water access.
