Well known and advertised vantage point that is easily accessible. There is only room for one or two people on the small platform, so allow for some waiting time. If you want to see the chalk cliffs in all their splendor and fascination, you should also continue to the other vantage points.

Breathtaking view. It is best to hike there in the morning. Then you are there alone and can enjoy the view in peace 😉

Very nice view of the famous Königsstuhl and the Viktoriasicht with impressive views of the chalk cliffs.

By foot taxi from Lohme we could already collect on the way to the Königsstuhl and the Victoria prospect the most beautiful impressions. Just with the mass from the parking lot to the views - Horror 1🙈🙈🙈
The step onto the viewing platform costs a bit of courage

Very slowly - this then again took several million years - these chalk layers were pressed to the surface, survived 3 ice ages and then formed the chalk coast of Rügen where there was once a sea

In June 1865 King Wilhelm I and his daughter-in-law, Crown Princess Victoria of Prussia, stayed at the striking chalk cliffs on the Jasmund peninsula. To commemorate this visit, an iron viewing platform was later built on the site, which protrudes over the chalk cliffs and offers a fascinating view of the depths and the Königsstuhl.

By car to the chalk cliffs in the "Jasmund National Park" on Rügen. The hiking trail is three kilometers long from the parking lot to the Königsstuhl. Admission here costs € 8.50 per person or € 17 for the family (2015) only for the “Königsstuhl and the visitor center”. The rest of the national park is free. For example one can go to the Victoria lookout point. From here you have a great view of the Königsstuhl. There is also the option of going down an endless staircase to the sea and from here to admire the Königsstuhl and the chalk cliffs from below. The way back is through a very beautiful beech forest with a few small lakes to the parking lot.

The vantage point "Victoria View" is so named because the then King of Prussia Wilhelm I visited it in 1865 with Crown Princess Victoria (his daughter-in-law). The lookout point is part of the small stump chamber. The immediate vicinity of the striking chalk cliff "Königsstuhl" in the Jasmund National Park on Rügen is known as the stump chamber. A distinction is made between large and small stump chambers.
The Stubbenkammer forms with the few buildings, a district of the city of Sassnitz.

A really beautiful and exciting vantage point.
Too bad that the stairway to the sea is closed ...

Impressive view of the cliffs - keep your distance, risk of demolition.

Also to reach by bus
collected great impressions,
I can only recommend to go there relatively early, so that you are there in front of the masses.
Nearby there is a cozy restaurant with a nice beer garden

If you start from the parking lot Hagen in the direction Königsstuhl comes after a short time the Herthasee (you should look at), then we go to the direction of Victoria, already impressive! A great view of the Königsstuhl is about 200m after the Victoria view on the way to the visitor center.
If you want to visit the center it costs about 10 Euro / adult, we have saved the money, because the view from there will not be much better than the Victoria view.
For the way back to the parking lot, we chose another route that took us past a Stone Age Pfennigrab. Great place, even for a picnic.

Nice view of the coast from above. You should only go on the jetty without fear of heights.
November 24, 2021
From here you have a beautiful view of the famous Königsstuhl, especially for free!
April 3, 2022
small viewing platform with a magnificent view of the cliffs below and over the sea. No closing times and no fee.
April 29, 2022
You can see the Königsstuhl better from the side than when you stand on it! 😁
August 30, 2018
According to my report the most beautiful view
April 29, 2022
Great view. Should not necessarily be visited in the main season. The platform is small. Fit max 2 people on it
