Even in the 19th century, the Csávossy family was the most important family in Bobda. Baron Gyula Csávossy died on September 10, 1911. He and his family were buried in the crypts below the mausoleum. However, due to its size, the mausoleum was eventually used as a Roman Catholic place of worship.
