We enjoy spending our free time at Roggenhausen Zoo. The forest around the enclosure is peppered with small paths, so children can spend hours exploring and "climbing" them on the way from the parking lot. If you find the direct route from the parking lot to monotonous, you can choose the path upwards, and also get to the heart of the zoo via various paths through the forest. But be careful, apart from the main path, all other strollers are not really suitable.

Mountain biking

Roggenhausen is a popular excursion destination near Aarau. Many animals can be admired here and it has a kiosk and a restaurant. Not recommended on the weekend with the bikes, as quite a few people.
