It was left in the park clearing during the initial development of the park in 1830-1840. It was established as a natural monument by the decision of the Voivodeship Office in Kalisz on April 5, 1980. At least a two-hundred-year-old witness to the history of Grabów nad Prosną, felled by a storm on July 8, 2014.
