Punainenhiekka is a distinctive red sand beach located on the southern shore of Lake Pallasjärvi in Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park. The reddish-brown sand sets it apart from other beaches in the area, giving the beach its name, which means "red sand" in Finnish.

The beach is only a short trail from the parking area. The access road is driveable by any car, even though full of potholes.

The easy access had made it a popular destination. There is a day hut for resting, and many visitors also take a dip in the water.
