Hiking
This spot is a good place to access the stream for filtering water. It's ideal if you're coming from the Schliffkopf and spending the night at the Erdbeerloch trekking site, or the next morning when you head back up the mountain. There are few other options in this area, and the tap water from the Schliffkopf Hotel/Restaurant is disgusting (it tastes like chemicals). You shouldn't rely on it.
