Red Cedar Lake, tucked between Barron and Washburn counties, spans 1,841 acres at 1,184 feet in elevation. Filled with an abundance of northern pike, largemouth and smallmouth bass, walleye, and panfish, it's a popular spot for local anglers. If you're thru-hiking, you'll find several spring-fed campsites along its shores, perfect for an overnight or topping off your water supply after logging miles through the beautiful dense forest in this area.
