The Lunzberge on one side and the Brachwitz Alps on the other form the natural boundaries of the Saale valley north of Halle.
I think it's always a beautiful section on the Saale Cycle Path.
From Halle, for example, it is a good idea to drive along the Lunz Mountains to the Brachwitz ferry, cross over and drive back to the city through the Brachwitz Alps.

Interesting section between the (finally) cleared garden area Lettin and Neu-Ragoczy!

Beautiful cycle path close to the Lunzberge, south of the cycle path. However, three photos show the Brachwitz Alps or the Saalberge, the rock massif on the other side of the Saale. It belongs to the Franzigmark.
