The Lunzberge on one side and the Brachwitz Alps on the other form the natural boundaries of the Saale valley north of Halle.
I think it's always a beautiful section on the Saale Cycle Path.
From Halle, for example, it is a good idea to drive along the Lunz Mountains to the Brachwitz ferry, cross over and drive back to the city through the Brachwitz Alps.
