Tips
Coming from Trotha, we prefer to take the bike tour through Franzigmark rather than the pedestrian-filled footpath down by the Saale. During the week it is still somewhat doable, but at the weekend it is often stressful.

The 144 hectare Franzigmark belongs to the FFH area "Porphyrkuppenlandschaft northwest Halle" and is located between the Trompeterfelsen north of Lettin and the Kirschberg near Brachwitz, mainly in the municipality of Petersberg, Alaune/Morl.
