From my own experience, I can say: beware of this section between approx. 40 and 46 km of the route! Most of the time it's uphill and downhill through ankle-deep sand. Little shade, because most of the trees are burnt. Anyone who also carries a dog in a trailer here and doesn't have enough fluids with them is in acute danger of life. Riding is hardly possible! The bike, we had e-mountain bikes, often has to be pushed, even the push assist is only of limited effectiveness with a trailer. The note "unpaved surface (Komoot)" is a joke!
