High above the switchbacks of the RR704 road climbing out of the Oued Dades river valley, a pretty rough trail with rocks and gravel, as yet unmapped, climbs sideways to this amazing overlook. The trail takes advantage of a slanted layer of rocks, often with smooth surfaces for several yards at a time. The houses in the valley walls below seem glued to the steep slopes to avoid wasting any level surface that can be farmed, sometimes with irrigated terraces.
