Mostly decent to good asphalt, unfortunately mostly very rough and with some damage. This northern area of the Dardes Gorge is very wide and breathtaking views, the pictures don't come close to doing justice to the real view, I took a few with different focal lengths and to get an idea of how beautiful it is here.
To the north the road continues to the high mountain pass "Tizi n' Ouano" at approx. 2,900m, to the south the Dades Gorge becomes much narrower and IMHO even more impressive due to the high, vertical rock walls. Further east is the Todra Gorge, which is just as spectacular and could be integrated into a circuit.
