Hiking
The sixteenth-century gate takes its name from Cardinal Giovanni Morone who promoted the work as perpetual governor of Sutri. The gate with the tunnel is a recent work and dates back to 1909 obtained by sacrificing a floor of the convent palace of the monastery of the Holy Conception. Recently restored and properly illuminated, it presents itself as a stoic warrior guarding the City.
