if you're walking The West Highland Way, this is either your first or last pub on the route. At Mile 7.5 heading northbound, it's the perfect place to stop by for a drink or a spot of lunch.
As you approach the pub, you'll see on the left some rustic logs surrounding a beautifully upcycled pallet table. This is for WHW walkers to stop and eat their own lunches, a wonderfully thoughtful option if you're trying to save some money. If you're looking for something more substantial, they have an inspiring selection of burgers. As a vegetarian, I can highly recommend their Veg burger, but if you feel like something a little more on message, try their Heilan Coo Burger for a taste of the local meat.
They also have a Wildlife garden for the wee ones and do allow dogs in the garden if they are on a lead. If you're in a bit of a hurry and feel like packing out some food for dinner in the tent, they have an extensive takeout menu and you can even call them on 01360 550297 to order before you arrive.

The 'Beech Tree Inn' is one of the first known stops on the 'West Highland Way', which receives one with a few Scottish inscriptions.
