    To the west of the Bergpalais and the Wasserpalais, Countess Cosel commissioned the construction of hedge gardens in 1712, creating 7 intimate garden rooms that could be individually designed. If you take a short tour starting at the Water Palace along the Elbe side, cross the Kastanienallee and end at the Tritonengondel at the Bergpalais you will discover the following rooms:
    1st garden with 2 peacock sculptures;
    2.Garden with non hardy potted plants;
    3.Staudengarten; Crossing the Kastanienallee;
    4.Garden with azaleas and wintergreen plants
    5.growing and herb garden;
    6. Gravel garden with drought-bearing perennials;
    7.Garden with triton gondola.

    Large park, which also contains a museum. With a combination ticket, the park and the museum can be visited cheaper. The architectural style is very interesting and Asian.

    In the hedge gardens different topics are covered. In some gardens there are also seating areas that are in the shade.

    Beautifully landscaped garden. Especially worth a visit in spring, when the flowers drive out their buds.

    Hidden in one of the small gardens. For a snapshot certainly suitable. May not be climbed.

    Asian construction architecture explained in the museum area. Interesting to look at, as unusual for the region.
