Here, you're reminded that the VFB is a pilgrimage route (for hikers!). A wonderful road – for hikers and mountain bikers! There are people who really like that sort of thing. These large, uneven stones are found almost throughout the entire section and aren't really suitable for cyclists with heavy loads. I recommend avoiding this section, especially uphill!
