The Forsby-Köping lime cableway was a 41.2 km long transport cableway for lime that ran from the Forsby lime quarry in Södermanland to Köping in Västmanland. The cableway was inaugurated in 1941 and ran through the municipalities of Vingåker, Katrineholm, Eskilstuna, Kungsör and Köping. The final destination was the factory at the port of Köping, where cement was manufactured until 1978 but now only other types of lime products. When it was built, the cableway was the longest in Europe, and from 1987 until its demolition in 2013, the world's longest operating cableway. The drive station here in Malmberga now functions as a museum of the operation
