"Stegen" is a work of art on Slottsholmen in Västervik, near the ruins of Stegeholm Castle. Created by the artist couple SIMKA (Simon Häggblom and Karin Lind), the work consists of several elements: a circular base, a wall of glass blocks, an aluminum boat on legs, and sound cones. The work symbolizes the history of the town, including its relocation from Gamleby to present-day Västervik and the shipyard operations on Slottsholmen.
