Hirschlacke

... the Hirschlacke (1435 m) marks the westernmost alpine pasture on the difficult classic tour S1 (short S2) - past the Brünnstein to the Oberaudorfer Almen (or down over the Nesseltal).
For e-bikers, the route is recommended from Brünnsten, then you have the sliding passage (some can also drive ;-) to host Almsattel in the downward direction - the challenge is then the steep rise of the Rechenau to Brünnsteinhaus, which also e Bikers sweat on the forehead drives ....

I agree with Reparl from and totally. So with the E-MOUNTAINBIKE, definitely ride the tour from Rechenau in the direction of Brünnsteinhaus, even if the uphill gradient is over 20% in places. Later, after the Brünnsteinhaus, you can still push about 400 meters steeply downhill in impassable terrain. In the opposite direction, moving the heavy E-MTB up is an absolute no-go. That spoils any enjoyment of the tour.
