The 106-meter-high town hall tower dominates the city skyline and represents urban self-confidence. The town hall tower was modeled after the bell tower in Venice
and was inaugurated by Kaiser Wilhelm II in November 1911.
At a height of almost 70 meters, there is a visitor platform, which you can reach by elevator. From up here, you have a fantastic view of Kiel's old town and the fjord.
