The passage is absolutely spectacular. You shouldn't be claustrophobic. You walk through this shoulder-width, unlit tunnel in water about 10 cm deep. It's best to go downstream. The 200 m long tunnel has an exit in the middle with a ladder, possibly 6 m high, but the exit is apparently barred. The brave go alone, the less brave in small groups. The fearful ones watch the entrance/exit 😄 and go over the hill.

The famous tunnel: The best-known adventure on site is a 186-meter-long, very narrow, and pitch-dark water tunnel. It was built by the Italians in 1931 and diverts spring water to a reservoir. You can walk through it barefoot or with water shoes – the water will reach about your ankles. Those who suffer from claustrophobia can simply bypass the tunnel via a normal forest path above ground.
