The chapel is located on the Wartstein, which protrudes as a rocky peninsula into the Obertrumer See.
The Wartstein Chapel dates from the 18th century and is St. Consecrated to Anna. The prayer room is separated from the main yoke by a barred arcade.
There used to be a hermitage here.

Uta: The map shows the "observation tower at Wallersee" at the southern end. Incorrect, we are at one of the three Trumer Lakes. Wallersee is about 15 km further southeast.
