Auberge Borda is a lovely little hostel on the way from Saint Jean Piet de Port to Roncesvalles. The hostel is beautifully nestled in the Pyrenees, about 8 km from SJPDP, and can accommodate 18 pilgrims. The old shepherd's hut has been lovingly renovated and offers everything a pilgrim could wish for. We paid €34 per person for one night, which included a delicious pilgrim's menu and breakfast. If you don't want to cross the Pyrenees in one stage, you should plan your overnight stay here.
