Where the Landauer Hütte stands today, carpenters worked for the construction of Neuscharfeneck Castle in the 13th century. This is less than a kilometer away in a northwesterly direction. Later, here was the castle garden of the castle, where vegetables and spices were grown. Very nice PWV hut with a large beer garden.
