The church was founded by Adam von Waldow. The church was built in the Baroque style, made of brick and immediately plastered. In 1770, a wooden tower was added, and in 1906 the building underwent a thorough renovation. The church has preserved a Baroque altar, and the characteristic galleries have survived in a fragmentary form, i.e. the organ prospect above the entrance to the church. The 18th century coat of arms of the von Waldow family, from this church, was transferred to the Lubuskie Museum in Gorzów Wielkopolski.
