A very beautiful former station of the Weil Valley Railway.
Former Laubuseschbach Station
This small station was once the terminus of a branch of the Weil Valley Railway, which primarily served the transport of ore and freight. Opened in 1892, passenger service was discontinued in 1955, followed by freight service in 1968. Today, the preserved station building recalls the Weil Valley's industrial past. The old route can still be traced along sections of the cycling and hiking trail.

After Weilmünster had already been connected to the railway network from Weilburg on November 1, 1891, the line to Laubuseschbach subsequently opened on May 15, 1892. Passenger service to Laubuseschbach was completely discontinued with the winter timetable of October 2, 1955, and freight service followed on September 28, 1968.
