The choir tower, which is still Romanesque in its core, was altered in 1492. The nave, which is covered with a gable roof, has a flat ceiling on the inside, as does the recessed choir, i.e. the ground floor of the choir tower. The hall church was burned down in the Thirty Years' War. During the reconstruction after 1632, the choir tower was extended by two floors of timber framing, the upper one houses the tower clock and the bell cage and is covered with a pyramid roof.
