The federal monument of the Association of German Cyclists is in the spa gardens of Bad Schmiedeberg. It was financed by the Association of German Cyclists. Inaugurated on June 17, 1923 in the presence of several thousand cyclists from all over Germany. It is to commemorate the dead of the First World War, as well as the cycling enthusiasts.
