The Hexenhaus Wesel was originally set up on the edge of the village as Backhaus. For fire protection purposes back houses were built in many villages at that time, which could be shared by the villagers. Later, the witches' house was extended to a residential building and today it is maintained by a cultural association. By prior arrangement, the lovingly restored monument can be visited. As a field office of the registry office sometimes even weddings take place in a historic atmosphere.
