A direct ride on Gerakas beach itself is restricted or not permitted due to regulations protecting turtle nests. However, there are several providers in the area offering alternative routes:
Laganas Horse Riding Center: Offers rides through pine forests and sand dunes, as well as a "Horse Swim" experience on more secluded beaches.
Yianni's Horses: Known for the "Ride and Swim" tour. This takes about an hour through nature to a secluded beach (near Ammoudi), where you can go into the water with the horses.
Lucky Luke Horse Riding: Offers excursions through olive groves and along the sea.
