Hiking
Artist Frank Havermans built this observatory on the banks of the Dommel River. He was inspired by fallen trees along the river. It is made of concrete covered with bark and is partially embedded in the ground. The low vantage point makes it feel like you're lying face down in the grass. On the other side, there's a kind of peephole through which you can see the water flowing below. At high tide, the artwork fills up. Later, it flows out again.
Hikers can sit here and enjoy the panoramic view.
