Mesa Arch is a breathtaking natural stone arch located on the eastern edge of the Island in the Sky mesa in Canyonlands National Park, Utah.

This iconic "pothole arch" formed over millions of years as water pooled and gradually eroded away the bedrock at the cliff's edge.

Perched dramatically at the precipice of a 500-foot cliff, it offers expansive, framed views of Buck Canyon, Monster Tower, Washer Woman Arch, Airport Tower, and the distant La Sal Mountains.

Mesa Arch is particularly famous for its spectacular sunrises, when the sun's rays reflect off the canyon walls below, casting a vibrant, otherworldly orange glow onto the underside of the arch.

This captivating phenomenon makes it one of the most photographed natural landmarks in the American Southwest, drawing photographers and visitors from around the world to witness its beauty.
