This museum is highly recommended, as it explains the origins of the bunkers that can be seen in many places along the Danish coast very well.
It's astonishing how much effort the Germans put into building these structures, but also how the locals experienced real economic growth as a result.
Construction workers came here from all over the country and earned a lot of money. They needed accommodation, so cellars and attics were rented out to them.
