Location: Bodenmais, Regen, Lower Bavaria, Bavaria, Germany
The Kronberg is a 983 meter high mountain in the Bavarian Forest, which forms the highest point of a subordinate mountain range between Bodenmais, Langdorf and Böbrach in the middle of the district of Regen. It is not to be confused with the 785 meter high mountain of the same name near Viechtach.
On the rocky summit there is a wooden cross with summit book and two resting benches. A hiker rarely comes here, as higher and better-known mountains such as Arber or Silberberg are very close by. But because the Kronberg is the local mountain of Langdorf, there is still a summit cross. Only the view leaves much to be desired.
