The practice area and club grounds of the "Fahrsportfreunde Dingdener Heide e.V." are located at "Finkenberg 11" in 46499 Hamminkeln-Lankern. Carriage driving is defined as carriage driving with one, two, or four horses. The more than 10,000 square meter practice area features fixed obstacles, a moat, large and small wall obstacles, a maze, a dressage arena, and a judge's tower. Training takes place during the summer (April 3 to October 23) on Thursdays from 3 p.m.

The club was founded in 1990 and, thanks to its professional training and friendly atmosphere, has achieved numerous successes in carriage driving. Carriage driving includes the following disciplines: dressage, cross-country driving, and obstacle driving. Carriage driving has a longer sporting tradition than riding. Chariot racing was already a core part of the program in ancient Olympia. However, the club not only welcomes competitive drivers, but also all horse lovers, and inclusion is practiced.
