The road starts in Casenove, a mountain hamlet of Foligno, branching off from a now disused stretch of the Val di Chienti state road 77. The route continues south, reaching the hamlet of Rasiglia before climbing towards the Soglio pass (828 m above sea level). The road continues towards the hamlet of Villamagina, before reaching Sellano. The landscapes are suggestive, the climb is beautiful and fairly easy to cycle up to the Colfiorito plateau.
