The Kalvarienberganlage in St. Georgen am Attersee consists of 13 stations (erb. 1859-63) and the Kalvarienbergkirche (erb. 1863-69), in which the 14th station is located.

The Way of the Cross leads from Attergaustraße in the middle of fields to the hill with the small church, which is surrounded by a group of trees and meadows. From there you have a beautiful view of St. Georgen and the mountains in the south, such as of the Höllengebirge.

The 12th station with the crucifixion group is larger than the other chapels.

Both the church (2002-04) and the stations (2016) have recently been restored. The path itself has also been redesigned.

The chapel "Jesus says goodbye to his mother" erected on the road is placed in front of the Way of the Cross.
