The Way of St. James leads through the forest along the Dürren Ager. The Roman bike path makes an arc and leads over an asphalt road. Coming from the east, at the beginning of the path at the farmhouse there is a prohibition sign "Privatstraße". Since we are unsure the farmer waves us friendly and encourages us to drive calmly. The sign is only because your dog runs around freely and they don't want to have any problems with liability issues if a cyclist is afraid.
The path is very worthwhile, even if it is a short stretch so narrow that you have to push. After heavy rain, it is surely too slippery to drive safely. But otherwise very nice!
